Gowrish Academy's expertly crafted and exquisite curriculum follows an elaborate three-step process consisting of comprehension, preparation, and application. Unlike most tutoring centers that focus on rote memorization, the Academy's modules promote students to promptly understand and efficiently master complex topics. Your education at Gowrish Academy will not only last your high school years, but will lay a foundation for the rest of your career.
Students will attend weekly classes covering various topics within mathematics, English, and science. Detailed notes will be provided to establish a fundamental understanding of the subject. A Socratic approach will be utilized to build upon the students' understanding of more complex aspects of the topic.
After each lesson, practice problems are given to students; more difficult problems prompt the teacher to talk the students through the problem preparing them for independent understanding and interpretation later. Homework is assigned weekly and reviewed in a Socratic process to enhance individual realization.
SAT and ACT test sections are assigned weekly. The exams simulate the time constraint and train independent solving capabilities. Test results are reviewed in class and confusing topics are promptly demystified. Students are assigned official SAT/ACT tests from the Academy's extensive collection. The tests effectively re-establish topics in the course. Complimentary study materials are also offered upon completion of the course.
